Polo Springs Veterinary Hospital would like to welcome you and your pet to our weight loss challenge.  We are excited to have you join our dedicated clientele whose goal is to have happier pets with a healthier lifestyle.  

Overweight and obese pets carry a significantly increased risk of developing a variety of serious health problems.  Many of these health issues are similar to what overweight and obese humans may develop, including:

 

1. Heart, cardiovascular and respiratory problems
2. Difficulty obtaining a thorough physical examination
3. Skin infections and/or rashes
4. Orthopedic and neurologic conditions including chronic pain
5. Increased surgical and anesthetic complications
6. Delayed wound healing and/or depressed immune function
7. Metabolic disorders including Diabetes Mellitus
8. Increased complications with pregnancy

  Polo Springs Veterinary Hospital is dedicated to helping our patients have a healthier lifestyle and live a longer life. In doing so, we are starting our first annual weight loss challenge. Our program includes:  

• Before and after pictures
• Ongoing complimentary monthly weight assessments
• Personal access to the most up to date dietary recommendations for successful progressive weight loss

• The opportunity to earn a free bath
• A feature of your pet, on display in our lobby

Polo Springs Veterinary Hospital announces our weekly group hike.  In conjunction with our Weight Loss Challenge, Polo Springs Veterinary Hospital will be holding a weekly group hike to provide an opportunity for your canine to improve their fitness or burn off some extra energy in the company of other dogs and dog lovers!  

Starting Sunday, September 12, everyone (and their non-aggressive dogs) is welcome to join us at Palmer Park at 6 pm for exercise and fun.
