In 1990, Dr. Lisa Gerleman Lehman graduated summa cum laude from Colorado State University with a bachelor of science in veterinary science. That same year she became a member of the The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi by election of the Chapter at Colorado State University.
In 1993, Dr. Lisa Gerleman Lehman graduated first in her class from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University. She was elected to membership in the Theta Chapter of the Society of Phi Zeta, the Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. During Dr. Lehman?s attendance in Veterinary College, she was selected to participate in an infectious disease research project with an infectious disease expert under the sponsorship of one of the world?s largest pharmaceutical companies.
Following graduation, and after working with several veterinary practices and specialists in Colorado, Dr. Lehman decided to give Colorado Springs a facility where pets and their owners could benefit from the most up-to-date information and technologies available.

Dr. Van Brimmer attended The Ohio State University School of
Veterinary Medicine where she developed a strong interest in small
animal medicine and surgery.
In 2005 she completed her studies and
received her DVM degree, graduating first in her class. After
graduation, Dr. Van Brimmer moved to Colorado Springs to join the staff of Polo Springs Veterinary Hospital. Her professional interests include surgery, animal behavior, and disease prevention.
Kacey enjoys outdoor
pursuits, particularly hiking, running and horseback riding, as well as
spending time with her husband, daughter, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
Dr. Anastasia Meadows graduated with honors from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University. She obtained her bachelor of science degree in microbiology from the University of Michigan. While studying as an undergraduate, Dr. Meadows took advanced courses in infectious disease from The University of Michigan?s Medical School and The University of Michigan?s School of Public Health. Dr. Meadows was awarded an opportunity, based on her academic excellence in veterinary college, to participate in innovative rabies research at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta Georgia. These combined experiences led to her clinical interest in infectious diseases, specifically those with human health implications.
Dr. Meadows enjoys distance running and triathlons. She has competed in marathons and Ironman competitions. She is an avid hiker and has completed hikes up Pikes Peak with her Labrador Retriever Rhett.
